# ardegazu-theme

the shared look of the [ardegazu.ro](https://ardegazu.ro) suite, as one plain
CSS file.

`theme.css` holds the layer every app shares: the color tokens (dark-first
night palette, a cream override for people who ask for light — six accent
hues rose/peach/sage/lilac/sky/gold, each with `-d`/`-l` variants), the base
reset and typography, and the small shared components — the quiet two-tap
`.btn` (with its `.armed` warning state) and the `.soc-flash` toast. layout
is per-app: the theme sets colors and type on `body`, never padding or
overflow.

## consuming

apps bundle the theme as a sha-pinned git dependency (offline-safe — the css
ships inside the app's own build):

```jsonc
// package.json
"dependencies": { "ardegazu-theme": "git+https://git.ardegazu.ro/theme.git#<sha>" }
```

```ts
// first line of the app's entry module
import "ardegazu-theme/theme.css";
```

npm records the resolved commit in `package-lock.json`, so builds stay pinned
even though the mirror moves. bump with the explicit form only —
`npm install ardegazu-theme@git+https://git.ardegazu.ro/theme.git#<sha>` — a
plain install silently reuses the stale lockfile resolution.

the hub ([ardegazu.ro](https://ardegazu.ro)) is the first consumer; the
sibling apps migrate one by one. docs for adding an app to the suite live in
the dev repo's `templates/HOME.md`.

## the cdn mirror

for anything that can't (or shouldn't) bundle — landing pages, one-off tools —
the same file is served at:

```
https://cdn.ardegazu.ro/theme/v1/theme.css
```

`/v1/` is this package's major version. token values may be tuned in place
(same names, same feel); a breaking change — renamed or removed tokens,
different semantics — bumps the major and lands at `/v2/`, so hot-linked
pages never shift under anyone's feet.

## building

```sh
npm run check   # theme.css is present and holds the expected layer
npm run build   # dist/theme/v<major>/theme.css — the cdn layout
```

## releasing

the usual suite flow: commit (anonymous identity), `ardz kit-release theme`
publishes the anonymity-gated source mirror to git.ardegazu.ro (via
`deploy/publish-repo.sh` and the workspace assembler), and `ardz release
theme` deploys `dist/` to cdn.ardegazu.ro.
